1. The league shall be within a 15 mile radius of evesham and be called the evesham & district dart league and be governed by the chair person,secretary,committee and one representative fom each team the decision of this body will be final.
2. League headquarters will be at the ambassador club.
3. A league match shall consist of 9 games 6 singles best of 3 legs each 501 straight start double finish , 3 doubles 701 straight start and double finish. doubles to be played first 2 points for a win. Bust rule now applies.
4. All matches to commence at 8.30 pm if possible, if the match is not started by 8.45 pm defaulting team will lose the match 7-0 all players must be present by 9.30 pm unless agreed by both captains defaulting team will be fined £10.00 this amount will be reimbursed to the opposing teams landlord, if the game was due to be played at his premises.
5. The league K.O. cup to be played in the identical format of the league matches except results sheets to be folded in half so opposing team cant see names.
6. Late comers to the match may play providing that play is continuous if play is halted then the defaulting team will lose all remaining games.
7. Protests or objections must be lodged with the match secretary in writing within 72 hours after the match. The defaulting team may be fined or points deducted if proven.
8. The throw distance will be 7'9 1/4. The oche must be toed, not trodden or stood upon players may stand behind the oche.
9. All competition players to be on the premises for roll call at 8.15 pm games to commence at 8.30 pm.
10. Each team to pay a entrance fee of £40.00 to the league plus £20.00 holding bond.
11. Matches to be played on thursday nights.
12. No player to sign on for more than one team per season including competitions. Any team playing a un-registered player will lose match 7-0 . If a players name appears twice on any signing on sheet the first team they play for is the one they are signed on for.
13. Delegates meetings will be on dates shown on fixture sheet £5.00 fine for non attendance of meetings. Signing on sheet to be handed in by first delegates meeting if not a £10.00 fine.
14. Late result sheets £2.00 fine.
15. Committee meetings must consist of at least 5 members to form a quorum.
16. In extreme circumstances extra players may be signed on at the match subject to both captains agreement results sheet to show clearly new player, players may not sign on after half the season has been played unless agreed with match secretary and the committee.
17. Away team players will throw for the bull first in all league and cup matches.
18. Any player causing aggravation during a math must be brought to the attention of the committee and this can result in the player being expelled from the league.
19. All scores to to recorded on a chalk board if away team agrees electrical machines may be used.
20. Competition entries £2.00 per player per event.
21. Dart mat, lighting and board to be of a reasonable standard home captain must take every effort to ensure this is so.
22. A player must play 3 league games to enter competitions.
23. No cancellation of league or cup games unless 24 hours notice is given if game is not played a fine of £25.00 will be due.
24. No transfers after a player has played 2 league games ( £5.00 fee ).
25. Players can only sign on upto half way point of the season or with committee approval.
26. Any team pulling out of the league during the season will not be allowed to play the following season players signed on will also have a season ban. Any money outstanding from a team at the end of the season will be divided between the players equally if they wish to play the following season their share must be paid before they can play.
27. Captains cup 1 game of 501.This dose not count towards the final score of the game.
